    Ochakov Museum of Marine Art of R. Sudkovskiy was opened at homeland of artist and is geographically separated department of the Nikolaev Regional Art Museum of V.V. Vereshchagin. Today the fund of the museum has 663 works of painting and drawing. Basis of the collection is 25 paintings by world-renowned marine painter Rufin Sudkovskiy (1850 - 1885).

    Museum “Partisanskaya Iskra” (Partisan spark) was created in 1965 by a member of the youth underground organization I. Gerasimenko. The reconstruction of the museum started in 1985 according to the project of graduates of the Kiev Art Institute headed by the D.C. Stukalov. Updated museum opened in 1991. The great exposition hall and cinema hall were built, the monument of bronze boy-partisan on the backdrop of granite piers, stele near the grave was restored and young park was planted.

    Two exhibition rooms of the museum contains biographical information on organization members and their personal belongings, maps where partisan groups acted - Pervomaisky District: Krymka, Katerynka, Petrovka, Kamyanaya Balka, Kumari, Andreyevka, Kamenniy Most.     Church of Saint Constantine and Helena was built in 1905 on money of parishioners. In Soviet times the church was operating, only the bell tower was dismantled. Now renovation and restoration work are being held.

    Monastery was established from the parish by the decision of the Holy Synod of 29.07.1998 year.

    Almost 30 years it was located in the building of an Orthodox church. In 2000 the church building has been passed to the church and the museum has been moved to the light, two-story, beautiful building of the Communist Party Committee. Now the museum holds more than 18,000 exhibits and more others are waiting to fit in 6 spacious rooms, but even in such conditions a variety of exhibitions, conferences and meetings are being held in the museum.

    The one of the finest churches - St. Michael's (Pelageevsky) along with women's monastery is located in the regional landscape park "Priingulsky" in Nikolaev, Ukraine.

    Hand made miracle, which reminds the St. Vasiliy Cathedral located in Red Square in Moscow, appeared on the shore of Ingul river at the beginning of XX century. The temple was consecrated in 1904 after the 8 long years of construction. The history of the church is very unusual. Collegiate Councilor Mikhail Durilin and cornet engineer Andrey Durilin following their father’s decided to build a temple in memory of his mother Pelagea.

    The museum is located in the cellar on the territory adjoined to the docks and elevators of Nikolaev, Ukraine sea port. In the period of temporary occupation of Nikolaev by Nazi invaders that house was empty but before the liberation of the city by Soviet Army it became the place of the heroic battle of 68 sailors marines.

    Every stone affects imagination and emotions. The visitors of the museum get a sense that the souls of the dead marines were present at the meeting with the eternal feat. Inside the museum visitors estimate the courage of all and each marines separately in a new way.

    Temple was built in the name of St. Alexander Nevskiy in 1886 according to project of I. F. Zhukovskiy-Volynkiy for money of disabled soldiers of the Crimean War. The temple is located on the Uritskogo Street 2 in Nikolaev, Ukraine next to a military hospital.     Nikolaev Regional Museum of Local History in Nikolaev, Ukraine is one of the earliest museums of antiquities in the Russian Empire. It was founded in 1803. The opening of the museum is associated with the opening of the cabinet of rarities created by the decision of the chief commander of the Black Sea fleet and ports Marquis de Traverse.

    Start of Lutheran Church (Lutherische Kirche) in Nikolaev, Ukraine construction refers to the 1849 by the draft of English architect Charles Ackroyd which was approved by Emperor Nikolay I. Admiral M.P. Lazarev instructed Charles Ackroyd personally to monitor the construction of the church. According to the draft the facade of the church was supposed to face a Nemetskaya (German) Street (now Faleevskaya Street). But the Emperor Nikolay I during his stay in Nikolaev made adjustments to the project of Ackroyd and brought the church's facade from Nemetskaya Street to Admiralskaya Street.

    Nikolaev regional museum of the underground-partisan organization was established in 1975 in the house where the Hero of the Soviet Union's and famous spy Victor Lyagin used to live, he was director of Nikolaev underground resistance center during the World War II.

    The museum contains a rich collection of documents, photos, articles telling us about the heroic struggle of the inhabitants of Nikolaev, Ukraine region against the Nazi occupiers. They were the real heroes, who, despite tremendous risk, performed miracles of heroism. Although many of them paid with their lives their actions were not in vain. Committing sabotage behind enemy lines, they were hastening the day of liberation of their land and whole country.
