    Village "Koblevo" in Nikolaev, Ukraine, formerly "Postovoye" of Kherson province in the Russian Empire, was founded by Russian prince Volkonsky during the Russian-Turkish war. The purpose of the organization was the building of staging point for assistance to the wounded in the attack on Ochakov. In 1788 it was renamed to "Troitskoye" (Trinity) - in honor of the completion of the church, which coincided with the celebration of the Holy Trinity.

    In 1792 for the successful completion of the Turkish campaign and excellent service The Catherine II were granted land (12 acres) on the left bank of the Tiligul estuary to to Thomas Coble, and the village is still named Koblevo in his honor. Over the years Coble served as a military commander was a close associate of Richelieu and Langeron.
