• Nikolaev Sea Commercial Port is the seventh in the ranking of the leaders in the growth of the volume of cargo handling in the previous year

    In 2011, eighteen Ukrainian seaports handled 113.7 million tonnes of cargo - is 5.6% more than in 2010. The total amount of processing of transit cargo rose by 20.4% - from 33.1 million tons in 2010 to 39.9 million tons in 2011.

    Also, compared with 2010 is seen an increase in the volume of processing of imported goods - by 4.7% (January-December 2011 Ukrainian ports handled 11 million tons of imported goods).

    Among the leaders in the volume growth of cargo handling in the previous year:
    Yalta port - processed by 61.3% more freight than in January - December 2010;
    Evpatoria port - an increase of 47.5%;
    Kerch port - an increase of 29.1%;
    Kherson port - an increase of 24.7%;
    Port Yuzhnyy - an increase of 24.3%;
    Feodosia port - an increase of 23.3%;
    Nikolaev Port - an increase of 19.8%;
    Berdyansk port - an increase of 10.4%;
    Odessa port - an increase of 3.7%.

    Among the leaders in the increase in the level of processing of goods in transit:
    Kerch port - processed by 191.8% more freight than in January - December 2010;
    Port Yuzhnyy - 35.4% increase;
    Evpatoria port - a 33.6% increase;
    Feodosia port - a 17.2% increase;
    Illichevsk port - a 7% increase;
    Odessa port - a 6.9% increase;
    Mariupol Port - 4.7%;
    Nikolaev Port - a 2.7% increase.
